Steve is the newest member of the Mackee Chiropractic team. He completed his Masters of Chiropractic degree at Macquarie University after five years of clinically demanding study and research, and he is now enthusiastic to bring these skills to practice to help his clients.
Steve has worked with an extremely vast array of clients, with ages spanning from two weeks to 90 years, with varied problems and issues. He prides himself in providing gold-standard care and his approach is quite hands-on. He utilises his knowledge and experience in combining this with rehabilitation advice, which has seen great success among his clients.
He enjoys a multitude of sporting pursuits and is currently playing and coaching cricket, soccer, and basketball. He has also represented NSW in netball. (Note: No that isn’t a typo). It is this passion for sport and desire for high level performance that motivated him to complete his SMA Level 1 Sports Trainer Course plus advanced training in Rock Taping (also known as Kinesio Tape). His dream is to work alongside professional athletes and sports teams.
“My passion for Chiropractic started as a teenager. I was an active sportsperson that suffered from my fair share of niggling injuries. After seeing multiple styles of healthcare providers I found that the most effective, and fastest relief, was with Chiropractic. After a treatment I felt taller, lighter and had heaps more energy. The more I researched it, the more interested I got in the neurological aspect of chiropractic care.”
